PROFESSIONAL LEARNING WEBINAR

Playful Pedagogy: Joining in Play with Language

This webinar is open to everyone involved in delivering the ECLP at your service. Join us for an engaging webinar on joining in play with language with Kylie Farmer.

Play is a natural and significant aspect of children’s learning and development. Do you ever worry about interrupting play? In this webinar, Kylie will take you through a look at ways you can be intentional during co-play and create opportunities for language use. This webinar will help you to increase opportunities for children to engage in language in play-based environments.

This learning module is designed for all teachers and educators engaged in delivering the Early Childhood Language Program, to explore the skills, knowledge, and practices that early childhood professionals need to engage children in the language program.

We have designed this learning session to be conducted as a professional development opportunity for your whole team, to encourage meaningful discussion and planning for action together. However, where that is not possible the module is also suited to individual access.

We hope this learning module is meaningful for your program, we welcome your input to build on the skills, resources, and support for the whole Early Childhood Language Program cohort of early childhood professionals.

Before proceeding, we recommend you have permission from your manager to engage in this activity to ensure you are compensated for your time. We expect that this learning module will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.

This webinar was run live on 25th October 2024
